Anecdata, but the proprietary drivers with my Leap 15.3->15.4 update yesterday broke ('zypper dup' via ssh/screen with NVIDIA repo still enabled). I think NVIDIA have re-arranged some packaging and their build/uninstall scripts are brittle.
I was using the nvidia*G05 series of drivers previously. The drivers updated during the 'zypper dup' but my system came up in glorious 1024x768, which was initially amusing on a 725x428mm display, but the novelty wore off quickly.
I tried uninstalling and using the nvidia*G06 drivers, as allegedly now for "NVIDIA graphics driver for GeForce 700 series and newer". But they didn't work.
# lspci |grep VGA 09:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GK208B [GeForce GT 710] (rev a1)
Unfortunately I was doing three things at once and trying to get my desktop back to a usable state, so I wasn't particularly logical trying to nail-down what was truly wrong. I think kernel modules may have been built into old kernel trees (/lib/modules/5.3.*) and not assembled by dracut into the new kernel (stock Leap 15.4 5.14.21-150400.22-default) and the nouveau driver was still blocklisted.
I only run the proprietary nvidia drivers as I found X locked up on wakeup about one time in 4-6 with nouveau (and don't expect support on open lists for proprietary code).
Hope this helps anyone else searching NVIDIA woes.
Daniel

Looks like there was no reason for the thread??? Also looks like inxi 3.3.17-00 thinks you have two primary displays.

I do have two displays and neither will display full screen using quoted drivers, the reason for the thread. current G04 nvidia drivers provided do not support 1920x1080 display (on either monitor).
fwiw: usually Monitor-2 is not powered.

According to your 2022-06-14 22:15 (UTC-0400) thread post, you are running two displays @1920x1080 each using the 5.18.2 kernel, proprietary nvidia kernel driver, and proprietary nvidia display driver. What do you mean by G04 "does not provide 1920x1080" and "display full screen" if not using 1920x1080 resolution?

I am using drivers built by an individual in his account which are "unofficial" as such, but still the drivers provided as I listed do not work with my G04 and kernels 5.8.[1,2]
I doubt the work for anyone with G04 cards.
