For processing of medical images we have Orthanc in the graphics repository. HTh Axel -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-support+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-support+owner@opensuse.org

What exactly stops you? I just downloaded and it runs straight out of the box (well, out of the tar.gz file :) There's no installation necessary.

what do you run? Slicer-4.10.2-linux-amd64> ./Slicer error: Failed to obtain launcher executable name ! the tgz have a tree inside, I dunno where is the executable (of course Python is installed (opensuse 15.1)) thanks jdd -- http://dodin.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-support+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-support+owner@opensuse.org

Exactly what you do: Slicer-4.10.2-linux-amd64$ ./Slicer Switch to module: "Welcome" but in my case it outputs that text to the console and starts the GUI. What version of openSUSE are you on? I'm on Leap 15.0. If you google your error messages you'll find several threads and possible experiments/solutions/workarounds. https://github.com/Slicer/Slicer/issues/4787 looks interesting.
