[opensuse-support] Is thunderbird + enigmail working in Leap 15.1 Beta?
Hi, I added enigmail to the install on 15.1 (it was not installed by default), restarted Th, and when displaying a message that I know is PGP signed (I confirm by looking at the source), Thunderbird doesn't say anything about the signature. In fact, it removes from view the PGP inline blocks. I do not see entries in the preferences to activate PGP or PKCS. I'm compossing this, and if i click Options/sign, then the security options appear, but only for pkcs, not pgp. Also, on nntp messages, some are signed and Thunderbird is not aware of that. I am replying, using 15.1 (running in a VM). And I'll see if it can sign this reply. It does seem to check signatures. However, please note. I installed enigmail. Then I uploaded my ".thunderbird" directory from my 15.0 machine. Then I tried running Thunderbird and found that it wasn't installed. The point of all of this is that I installed Thunderbird after installing enigmail. I don't know whether that is relevant. And I'm a bit surprised that installing enigmail did not pull in Thunderbird. That's all.
