"GetManagedObjects" doesn't exist

Hello, I'm no more able to get my Ethernet device up and running. I get these messages about once per second: --8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8--- kernel: usb 2-4.5: new SuperSpeed USB device number 46 using xhci_hcd kernel: usb 2-4.5: New USB device found, idVendor=0bda, idProduct=8153, bcdDevice=31.00 kernel: usb 2-4.5: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=6 kernel: usb 2-4.5: Product: USB 10/100/1000 LAN kernel: usb 2-4.5: Manufacturer: Realtek kernel: usb 2-4.5: SerialNumber: 001000001 mtp-probe[10197]: checking bus 2, device 46: "/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:14.0/usb2/2-4/2-4.5" mtp-probe[10197]: bus: 2, device: 46 was not an MTP device kernel: usb 2-4.5: reset SuperSpeed USB device number 46 using xhci_hcd wickedd-nanny[1061]: /org/opensuse/Network/Interface/1922.getManagedObjects failed. After rebooting the system, there was no more internet, so I've unmasked rtkit-daemon and enabled it. After a new reboot, there is still no network. Something got broken by my "mask" -> "unmask" -> "enable" sequence. What could this be, and how could I fix that please? TIA for any hints, -- Peter

Apparently, this is the actual problem.

You could start with telling your distribution and its version.

Ok, then my subject line is misleading...

Sorry for having forgotten this: Leap 15.5 -- Peter

The problem is, that I always reboot like this: "zypper -n up -l; reboot" And I did not see, that a new kernel was installed... Rebooting with the old one solves the problem, so it has nothing to do with the rtkit-daemon... I'll fill a bug report for this regression. -- Peter
