If you enable EFI/UEFI in bios + secure boot - save + reboot and enter the boot menu - bios might see you windows boot/recovery partition and allow you boot from there.

I tried all options in the BIOS to get back the Boot Option in the BIOS to boot from the storage device (SSD), but got none. As a last resort I am trying to install Windows 10 on the partition it was on. I do not do much with this OS, so it is not a big deal. I hope this also reinstates the entry in the BIOS to boot from the storage device. Fingers crossed. It all did not work, so I finally cleared the whole disk and installed Windows 10. After that I got an entry in the Boot Options to boot Windows. Now I am installing Tumbleweed and Leap 15.4 again. This succeeded. All in all the problem was caused by not having the USB stick with the iso file in the USB port, which did not show a Boot Option for USB in the BIOS with UEFI, only in the Legacy I found a USB entry, so I used that to install Leap 15.4. Trying to get Windows boot again I choose the BIOS configuration to reset to factory settings. -- fr.gr. member openSUSE Freek de Kruijf
