Hi, I am having difficulty with Mozilla Thunderbird openSUSE newsgroup subscriptions. I followed to the best of my ability the following "openSUSE SDB newsgroup reader software installation page". https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Newsgroup_reader_software_configuration

 

I also followed this tutorial: https://legacy.hacklog.in/post/configure-nntp-for-opensuse-forums-in-thunderbird/

 

The error I keep getting when I try to attempt to manage subscriptions is "Thunderbird failed to connect to server (So-and-So)".....

 

Even when I try to setup my email account I am having a failure warning of "unable to login at server".

 

I have basically left the default setup in Thunderbird at: -> Preferences -> Connection Settings

It's late here and I know this is not necessarily a standalone question referring to openSUSE although I am using Tumbleweed.
