I am replying, using 15.1 (running in a VM). And I'll see if it can sign this reply. It does seem to check signatures. However, please note. I installed enigmail. Then I uploaded my ".thunderbird" directory from my 15.0 machine. Then I tried running Thunderbird and found that it wasn't installed. The point of all of this is that I installed Thunderbird after installing enigmail. I don't know whether that is relevant. And I'm a bit surprised that installing enigmail did not pull in Thunderbird. That's all.
