...adding info.  I tried using "cnf" for tls and got a message:

 

 Repository 'hardware' is invalid. 
[hardware|https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/hardware/openSUSE_Leap_15.4/] Valid metadata not found at specified URL 
History: 
- [hardware|https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/hardware/openSUSE_Leap_15.4/] Repository type can't be determined.

I'm not even sure if this is a problem of not.
