Well, I got there. This version of OS-TW--2020.0702--seems to be a little more obscure than the year-old one I had before the machine crashed. I don't even see a listing in the application Launcher for YAST, but when I find out how to get that and put its icon on the desktop, I need a tutorial as to how to find out what's in it and how to use it. F'rinstance: I'm told that Master PDF Editor exists in YAST somewhere-- how do I find it? As to other applications that I found fairly quickly in the year-old version, I'm looking for the Dolphin-like file-manager that runs in a root environment, (I don't remember what it was called,) for the Find Files app, and other things that don't come to mind at the moment. And yes, the nay-sayers that told me my partitioning would make Suse unhappy were correct. I let it do it's thing, and I haven't looked in gparted (how do I find that, also?) to see what it did. So thanx for the guidance along the way--this afternoon I bit the bullet and said "now is the time" even tho I was unable to do a Windows recovery--it didn't like my NTFS-formatted flash drives--two of them! So right now, I don't even nw if Windows is still there! --doug PS: How to I make Thunderbird single-space? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-support+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-support+owner@opensuse.org
