Thanks for the info. The location is confirmed, i.e. Disney's Coronado Springs Resort as shown on summit.opensuse.org The dates for CfP have already been announced in the initial Summit announcement. I will review the dates and see how this matches with the TSP requirements. I think I took this into account when the CfP dates were set but will double check (see A.I. from today's meeting). I am also still on the hook to send you the sponsorship stuff. Hopefully tomorrow. [opensuse-summit] Hotel rooms

Hi, From today's meeting I had the action item to figure out if rooms can be shared and how this might effect "Magic Bus" transportation. Rooms can be shared and all that share a room can ride on the "Magic Bus" ;) I've just pushed an update to the web page to the repository and the updated text should show up in the next hour or two. If someone could please read the text and let me know if it makes sense or what changes need to be made to clarify the situation I would appreciate it. I also updated the wiki page (https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Summit_room_board) intended to help facilitate room sharing opportunities. Again, additions/improvements are welcome. [opensuse-summit] Kick off meeting

Hi, While a few things for the summit organization are already rolling we will have a "Kick off" meeting to hopefully kick the organization of the Summit (November 15-17, in Florida) into a higher gear. The meeting will take place on Thursday August 29, at 1:00 P.M. EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) or 5:00 P.M. (17:00) UTC on the #opensuse-project IRC channel. Hi, I had my first discussion with the logistics team for SUSECon, as they are helping us with rooms etc. It is time to get moving forward. We need to start local outreach We need to get some ideas for parties (we will have access to a patio, nothing near the water) And lots of other stuff..... Lets have a kind of a kick off meeting next week on IRC How about Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday at noon EST or 1:00 P.M. EST. Please respond to this thread with your preferred time.
