Just for completness a short note :) If you don't use NAT/Masquerading, the networks are connected over the internet if both uplinks are online. If you are useing NAT, only the NAT routers are visible. In this case you may use IPSec to build up a secured tunnel between the networks. Samba may cause problems in that configuration, since the Windows protocols needs some "special" configurations to work right usually, i.e. a working WINS server. Apache could be connected without problems of course. If you are not useing IPSec or similar, the security of the servers depends on the security of the service daemons. Apache seems to be very stable :). If you need access from your LANs only, set up some firewall and access rules to improve security. oki, Steffen -- Dieses Schreiben wurde maschinell erstellt, es trägt daher weder Unterschrift noch Siegel.
