Hello everyone,
I'm running SuSE 9.2, and recently, I've realized antivir won't update any longer, complaining about the licence: Jun 13 10:32:25 linux antivir[7171]: Warning: the file "antivir.vdf" is more than 14 days old Jun 13 10:32:27 linux antivir[7171]: Error: new updates will not work with current license
I don't recall the licence being "expirable", but was it? Could someone please shed some light on this issue for me? Thanks!
If you are using the non-commercial trial version, you must renew your license once a year. I have used antivir on some machines for some time, but have switched to clamav in the meantime. It works great, and in some cases it even found infected mails where mcafee let them through!
