Hello,

Just to follow up on the general situation here...

usually the chromium updates are done quite fast via

However, it's now 10 days that 119 was released, and another update

there is still only the old 118.0.5993.117 in all chromium obs channel.

Is any reason known for this delay?
I see 119 now in network:chromium.

I think there was a dependency fix needed.

The background here is that this package is a PITA to maintain: Chromium has yet to find a third party dependency that it does not like to bundle. It's usage of compiler features leads to lots of patching needed. And that's only for Tumbleweed, add another 1-2 days for back-porting to Leap, even if you can grab things from other distros.

We just pushed 120 .. https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/1138475 It's been what... over a month? When it goes smooth we have a quick turnaround - if it does not it's a real drag. Callum has actually been doing most of the tedious bits that I could not figure out (chromium-120-emplace.patch). Also... holidays and other busy stuff for me.

In general what we are doing is preparing the next version in network:chromium/chromium-beta and swap it over around when 121 hits "early stable". Committed help is welcome - personally I will cut down.
