My internal net is 10.10.10.0/24 and I can only access my webserver by going to my gateway address of 10.10.10.1.
Does anyone have an idea of the reasons why? in Chapter 8 section 8.1.6 configuring for internal access to External IP
Min reason being to protect agains spoofing IP addresses it is a security point. No private IP can communicate with the External Device is a very generic way to explain. Think about the area codes in your phone number they are to distinguish different areas in the city/country. The phone number can be the same yet the area code makes the difference so you phone does not ring for every call. -- Togan Muftuoglu Unofficial SuSE FAQ Maintainer http://dinamizm.ath.cx
