[opensuse-releaseteam] Marketing for 42.3
Hi listmates! The anouncement of a rolling release mode development for Leap 42.3 was a great thing. I can't say if that it's a great thing or not for the release in technichal side. But I think that it's not a great thing for marketing side... There are many people out there that it's not a fanboy/girl of openSUSE, just GNU/Linux users tha use openSUSE. With milestones, with every release that creates expectations, reviews in webs or screencasts. a lot of stuff about openSUSE with a new release to test, etc... So now, how will community say: hey, we are doing a great new openSUSE version try it and test it! Are you gonna make some noise with a new snapshot published? or maybe a month review? just my opinion Greetings and have a lot of fun! -- ------------------- GPG Key: 0xcc742e8dc9b7e22a Aprende a proteger la privacidad de tu correo: https://emailselfdefense.fsf.org/es/ Mi blog sobre openSUSE, GNU/Linux y software libre: https://victorhckinthefreeworld.com/

I'd welcome that. I'm about to switch on the snapshot announcer. It will write changes like for Tumbleweed also to the factory list. So you will get some automated input. You could also subscribe to the commits feed to find out about all changes: https://build.opensuse.org/project/latest_commits/openSUSE:Leap:42.3 Also, last week I wrote a status update on the Factory list but got only very little feedback: https://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-factory/2017-04/msg00770.html cu Ludwig -- (o_ Ludwig Nussel //\ V_/_ http://www.suse.com/ SUSE Linux GmbH, GF: Felix Imendörffer, Jane Smithard, Graham Norton, HRB 21284 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-releaseteam+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-releaseteam+owner@opensuse.org
