Hi all,

ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT
(EE) RADEONHD(0): RHDLVTMAInit: any other device than an R5xx is still unsupported. (--) RADEONHD(0): Attaching Output DAC B to Connector 7PIN_DIN TV1 CV (WW) RADEONHD(0): DACBSenseCRT: connector type 4 is not supported. (EE) RADEONHD(0): Failed to detect a connected monitor
I also started a thread [1] on the radeonhd mailing list about support of my iMac alu 24". I have the same error messages. The support for these machines is not ready yet. I also started a thread [2] on the mactel-linux-devel mailing list. I can now use the AMD/ATI proprietary driver but that is not what I want :-) Bye [1] http://lists.opensuse.org/radeonhd/2007-09/msg00121.html [2] http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=baabf6440711160900j2bf3765dh9f260d392b141e59%40mail.gmail.com&forum_name=mactel-linux-devel -- Dr. Ludovic Rousseau -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org

Yours,
This is code that i am working on right now. Locally, R600 is working nicely, and today i am moving on to the rv6x0s (2400 is the rv610), as the LVTMA block has seen further changes between r600 and rv6x0. Luc Verhaegen. The package was build by T2, which exports version controlled CVS, SVN, GIT, etc. repositories to save disk and mirror space: http://www.t2-project.org/packages/xf86-video-radeonhd.html However, we could manually inject a git changeset hash or version, as you prefer. Ah, I see, didn't know t2 so far.
We already try to fetch the current git changeset hash, so you probably
want to interfere there, and create the according .h file yourself. In
this case, please add something like (T2) at the end so the source of
the hash is clear.
Thanks

The RV630 doc is missing LVTMA information. We are in the process of releasing an M76 doc which includes LVTMA and will essentially replace the RV630 doc. We noticed that the 5xx doc was missing LVTMA and replaced it before the initial release, but didn't notice that the 6xx doc was also missing it until after XDS. The SuSE developers have the M76 doc under NDA while we finish getting it ready for publishing.
