Trying to access this URL(http://download.opensuse.org/tumbleweed/repo/oss/suse/x86_64/spectacle-15.12... ) to download spectacle. I get: Object not found! The requested URL was not found on this server. If you entered the URL manually please check your spelling and try again. Is something up with the downloads server? Trying to get a screen capture back on Tumbleweed Plasma. I'm having no luck this is the one that's supposed to be provided but a recent update removed the old screen capture program and didn't provide the replacement. This is the replacement. Trying to get a screen capture back on Tumbleweed Plasma. I'm having no luck this is the one that's supposed to be provided but a recent update removed the old screen capture program and didn't provide the replacement. This is the replacement.

First: it could be that spectacle is installed ( it was on my TW install when I read about the changes ). To get it working I manually had to change the newly added Screenshots section in the hotkeys and tell it to use PrtScr, replacing the default ( PrtScr = ksnapshot ) -- Gertjan Lettink, a.k.a. No I don't think the download sever was there.
Trying it today I get the same result a 404.
So I was trying to give a heads up to the project something might not be right.
I didn't try the one click install however.
Looking in The Desktop settings. I didn't see a way to associate a
piece of software with a hot key. So I must be missing something
there.
Yast tells me Spectacle is not installed. It doesn't show up when I
search for it with Yast software management either
Curious as how you got the update and I didn't
zypper can't find it either.

I'd really like to get this working but I don't want to anger the devs

I just got the notice that a new Tumbleweed snapshot has been released. ( Must have been overnight and I just noticed it on the second notification ) Spectacle is in it. I am noticing however the download speed is abysmal LOL. US servers are not so good on Tumbleweed I've noticed. That may have been the problem with the download from the software repository too.
