[opensuse-project] LibreOffice 3.5.0 in Factory repository
I just updated the packages in 12.2 and I have the Factory repository of LibreOffice in that system. I noticed however that the version of LibreOffice in that repository is still 3.4.5. I would have expected at least 3.5.0, but 3.5.1.rc1 would even be better. -- fr.gr. this is more of a question for the opensuse-factory@ mailing list.
When things are submitted to Factory is up to the respective package
maintainers, and their preferences and priorities. My best guess is
that you'll see LibreOffice 3.5.x in Factory in the not too far future.

Thanks for the answer Gerald, I would like to remark that the same is true for 12.1 where LibreOffice:Unstable also contains the Stable version 3.4.5. Unstable suggest at least 3.5.0 if not 3.5.1.rc2. -- fr.gr. Thread shifted to opensuse-factory. The project list is the wrong placce as others have written too. Also if you're hit by this with openSUSE 12.1. BTW the best way to get the real issue addressed is to offer your help to work on it. Bringing the more or less same issue up again and again does not push the issue forward. Sooner or later people might get upset. Thanks, Lars -- Lars Müller [ˈlaː(r)z ˈmʏlɐ] Samba Team SUSE Linux, Maxfeldstraße 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany

I have already started to work on the 3.5 packages for openSUSE. I need few more days. Best Regards, Petr -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: opensuse-project+owner@opensuse.org
