Not it is not - there are a large number of gnome developers and users who greatly appreciate and enjoy using gnome-shell. We might not be as vocal about it as those unhappy with the direction of travel, but that's probably because we're too busy enjoying our 'distraction-free computing' environment and getting work done :) Are you going to provide us with some constructive criticism with reasoned explanation so we can move forward and take this conversation beyond your opinion of "I don't like gnome3" and maybe towards "I can help make gnome3 better for me"?
