[opensuse-project] "Abstain" an option for future votes
On the board meeting two hours ago we discussed adding an "abstain" option to future votes. We unanimously agreed. That is, future votings shall include "abstain" as a choice. Hi Gerald, I suggest that the option be called "blank vote" rather than "abstain". Abstention by definition would be not voting. Therefore, with the "blank vote" we can differentiate between the percentage of abstention (i.e people who did not vote) and people who voted but didn't like any of the choices presented (i.e therefore a "blank vote"). No, it wouldn't. I the opensuse name vote, "none of the above" would not cover my possible vote, which basically was "I don't know" or "I don't understand ".
