Yes, all will be disclosed in due time, as something has been disclosed in here, it takes time Richard to make sure NDAs are null and void at this point, legal departments take my requests very seriously. I will tell you all about the proposal of a strategic investor to buy part of SUSE from EQT as soon as that NDA is lifted, if such a thing is to take place.

Long EN version: You, sir, do not have a place in "our" community. Your behaviour and proposed/advertised future steps may be viewed as an attempt to restrain openSUSE "spirit of freedom" and may lead to demotivating contributors and leaving to other distro, forking of openSUSE, ruining the ongoing "Closing The Leap Gap" effort and who knows what else. I won't be surprised if even SUSE would be hurted just by this thread. For myself i want to state that solely from your behaviour here on ML, i already know that i won't support and even respect any of your future proposals. I do not like people like you, you seem arrogant to me and i do not see such arrogant behaviour from people who are _twice_ as long in openSUSE community as you and _twice_ as old as you.
you sould be very careful with being specific and direct. I am under censorship for a much, much less volitle and non-specific post. note: as I am currently under censorship, this message may spend a long time waiting for a time convenient for the censor to review. Yes, i stated that i may regret sending that message and i already do, not for the meaning of it, but for the form. I normally do not take so emotionally-provoked actions. I am sorry for the form and if this will get me under censorship, i think i can live with that, this is the first time i have let myself expressed so affected and i don't think it will ever repeat. But hey, openSUSE is personal for me and it has suffered enough already for the last decade IMO. -- Regards, Gfs (Lukáš Krejza) Sent from BlackBerry smartphone – most secure mobile device

Short, czech version: Vy, pane, jste debil.
Thanks, calling someone idiot is certainly a good way to start any conversation ;-)
Long EN version: You, sir, do not have a place in "our" community.
Who gave you the moral right to decide who have and don't have place in "our" community, until it is "your community"?
Your behaviour and proposed/advertised future steps may be viewed as an attempt to restrain openSUSE "spirit of freedom"
Implying that hiring student interns as maintainers is a bad thing, or that people who also get paid to work on openSUSE do not deserve to be members even if they fill all the criteria? In the spirit of freedom I can pay as many contributors as I wish for working on projects I wish them to work on, no?

Ruining the effort how?

Thanks for being open-minded.

I doubt anyone here is twice as old as I am.
Maybe try again with a little more politeness, respect and _humility_?

Actually, it is a way to prevent starting any conversion with someone. Which is exactly my point. You did not came here to conversate. Not even to propose, but to force _your_ views. I even sense blackmail from that. That is totally _unacceptable_ in any free community. <long snip>

I wish I had a mind-reading machine too, can I borrow yours?

There were 0 arguments to begin with, first open hate speech in Czech and then covered one in English, I would hardly call that an argument.
