[opensuse-project] GSoC 2011: Semantic Parser
Hello, I find the semantic parser GSoC project[1] proposal to be interesting. I have been using clang_complete[2] for a couple of months now and the proposed semantic variable search will be a good addition to it. Is the expected work is an extension to the existing clang_complete? Is the scope of the project is to allow semantic variable search only? As I am new to clang or parser development, I am not aware yet of the complexity and the works related to this project. A little bit about me: I have 3 years working experience with C/C++ and I am currently studying master's degree at National University of Singapore. I have some knowledge (but not deep) on parsers, clang, and autotools. I have also contributed a tiny typo patch to clang's documentation[3], and small patches to other projects like TortoiseHg, HgSubversion, and Redmine. Thank you, Arief [1] http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:GSOC_ideas#Semantic_Parser [2] https://github.com/Rip-Rip/clang_complete [3] http://lists.cs.uiuc.edu/pipermail/cfe-commits/Week-of-Mon-20120130/052673.h... -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: opensuse-project+owner@opensuse.org

This idea was removed with the mention that coccigrep exists already: http://home.regit.org/software/coccigrep/ Cheers, Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: opensuse-project+owner@opensuse.org
