The prevailing opinion here seems to be that the language in the Guiding Principles of openSUSE is fine in theory but just too difficult to implement in the real world.
The Guiding Principles are that. They guide people. They are to be interpreted by them and are subject to discussion (as this one). Not everyone will have the same interpretation.
