Well maybe it will all work out, but to me it sounds like very similar usecases. A system admin is a user too and he is a "developer" too. An opensuse contributor could contribute to either version - and is now left wondering which one to install. For example I want to put opensuse on the server, so i suppose it would be best if I used the exact same thing as my desktop as would then later be on the server. But then again, I might also sometimes want the latest kernel. So I dont know why but I wasnt this confused with the Ubuntu versions.
