Proposals for openSUSE look and feel.
I like the look and feel, but I don't think this is the right approach with the simple user in mind. The "Create it" is not appealing to this type of user. This could be a bar underneath the two blocks, separated by a line and words like "Advanced user and developer". Behind the "Dowload it" and "Discover it", there again should be information directed to the simple user and the advanced user. At this level Download will become Download and Installation. Discover will become Use and Howto. On the third level for the simple user there should be a categorization of different types of users. a. E-mail and web users. b. Office users c. Picture and graphics users d. Sound users. e. Video users f. etc... In my view the simple user should just be exposed to cookbook type of information with an if then else type of guidance. My 2 cents. -- fr.gr.
