The mail I sent on behalf of the board was very deliberate:
"Note that this is only between you and the board, not public. We
have no intention to influence your chances in the upcoming elections.
Equally we are not able to share our dealings with other members, but
rest assured we have carefully looked at the situation from a broad
perspective, not singling anyone out."
