Sorry this is a history thing, most of the board is in this timezone and the rest of us like me have so many meetings in this timezone that we no how to convert. It also means we don't have to change the script for the change between summer and winter times. Googling "1pm berlin time here" will also give the right answer, I think we plan to replace the current bot with a calander system in the near future which will hopefully make life easier for many.
