I'm not sure that it's "totally counter" - at least if I'm looking on how Red Hat sees and handles CentOS. For sure, Novell would love paying customers - but Novell also offers more than "openSLES" will: especially support - and a support organization -, maintenance and compliances. Nevertheless I agree, an openSLES should not be part of openSUSE.
