Kiwi has moved forward and gained new features. Some things also were removed. However, not to worry. Kiwi automatically upgrades you config.xml file to match the syntax requirements of the schema version for the version of Kiwi you are running. All examples on the wiki are expected to work with the Kiwi version listed and newer version. If you run into an issue it's a "bug".
