Hi everyone,

as you probably have seen, after serving on the board for a good year
Attila has resigned (mainly due to his day job).

We quickly synced up as a board and in alignment with the Election Rules
(cf. https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Board_election_rules#Appointment )
offered the vacant seat to Patrick Fitzgerald who was a close runner-up
in the recent elections. And I am happy to share that Patrick accepted.


Thank you Attila for all you have done for openSUSE and hopefully will be
doing.

And welcome Patrick - looking forward towards working together more
closely!


And now on to some hacking, testing, designing, documenting, supporting,
using and promoting...
