Does bugzilla.novell.com have an xmlrpc.cgi file? I can't seem to find it.
It does, but you'll first need to get through the iChain login. So before you make a call for the first time to the XMLRPC interface, you'll need to POST "username=XXXXX&password=YYYYY" to https://bugzilla.novell.com/ICSLogin/auth-up, and then save the cookies it gives you (there's probably a way to have python do this automatically). From there you can call xmlrpc.cgi just like you would using a normal Bugzilla instance.
Matt, Could you please give me some details on the POST form? If I use a dictionary like this: {'username': 'XXXXX', 'password' : 'YYYYY' } I get Bad Request. If i use a dictionary like: {'login': XXXXXX', 'password' : 'YYYYY'} I get "Missing some field(s). Please try again.". What am I doing wrong?
