On that topic, I would like to see the openSUSE board provide a list of new members together with one/two sentences of the reason/stuff the new member has done (for introduction/publication in openSUSE Weekly News).
It'd be nice of the board to provide a new list of members when they're approved, but I don't think they should have to provide a justification for each member. But a "openSUSE welcomes new members ..." each week or so in oWN would be nice.
