Thanks to those who have contributed to this thread the past few days. I've personally learned a few things about mailing list etiquette and behavior, etc (I didn't know about the proper way to copy a reply, for example).
That being said, I think it's time we moved on from this conversation. I think the community can benefit from us all recognizing that we all have differing opinions, and that's not a bad thing.
