[opensuse-project] [Event invitation] Software Freedom Kosova

Hello Community, at FOSDEM the openSUSE community has been invited to attend the Software Freedom Kosova[0] planned from April 17 to 19. I was wondering if some of our community members from that area are already planning to attend the conference. This will be an important opportunity for sharing more about our project and strength the relationship between the openSUSE project and the local openSUSE community active there. As you already know, this year we will also co-organize and co-attend events together with the LibreOffice community, as part of the shared celebrations for our anniversaries. I know that the LibreOffice community is already planning to attend the Software Freedom Kosova. I already added this event to the events wiki page[1]. Present: Axel, Christian, Gerald, Gertjan, Marina, Simon == FOSDEM == * Several of us (board members) are going to attend FOSDEM in Brussels, February 1st/2nd 2020. * We'll also be attending the LibreOffice social dinner Saturday evening. == openSUSE+LibreOffice conference == * Refresher: October 13-16, 2020 in Nürnberg * https://events.opensuse.org/conferences/oSLO * A logo has been jointly selected by the openSUSE and LibreOffice teams; Details to follow on news.opensuse.org. * Going to use openSUSE infrastructure for call of papers. * Looking for some volunteers on the organization team; if you are interested please reach out to Marina Latini <deneb_alpha(a)opensuse.org> and Douglas DeMaio <ddemaio(a)suse.com>. Dear openSUSE members, The openSUSE Board election [1] is now closed. Simon has been re-elected for another term and Sarah replaces Gertjan on the board. Election results: Simon Lees 161 Sarah Julia Kriesch 138 Vinzenz Vietzke 130 Alessandro de Oliveira Faria 95 281 out of 500 eligible members have cast their vote in this election. We thank all candidates who stepped up and all members who cast their votes in this election. We thank election officials Ariez Vachcha and Edwin Zakaria for their time and effort in planning and carrying the election. Let's congratulate Simon and Sarah and welcome them on the openSUSE Board.
