Hi, I'm just starting to try and program using Qt and ruby using kdevelop version 3.3.3 on SuSE 10.0. As a starter I'm trying to get a very simple application working as per http://www.kdevelop.org/doc/technotes/rubyrad.html Now either I'm doing something wrong or there is something missing in the steps shown in the above document. On building the project the button does not appear on the window. The button widget does not appear to be created in any of the files. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong. -- Regards, Graham Smith

Hi,

Graham,
No answer to the above, but thinking of Ruby, have you looked at Ruby on Rails (RoR). It is a little hard to get running with SUSE 10.0, but SUSE 10.1 should have the correct versions of ruby etc. I've been using RoR for an internal project. It has been working great.
