Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has installed and used NetBeans Java IDE on SuSE Linux? I am interested in learning how to install it and how good it is...general impressions etc. I am working on web development projects mainly and would like to use it for a while working with the jakarta struts frame work.
I downloaded a bin file for the install but was not able to install it on my 9.1 Pro version I could not find any docs on NetBeans web site, so if you have any advice for me it is more then welcome.
Thanks in advance.

I haven't used NetBeans, but Eclipse works really well. It has code assist, debugging, refactoring support, and plenty of plugins to help you do whatever you're interested in. I'm running java 1.4.2, and Eclipse 3.0 with Tomcat.
Best of luck to you! Chris
