I'm running Suse 9.0 AMD64 w/kernel 2.4.21-149. I get sem_open error for /mysem: Function not implemented when I try to create a posix named semaphore.

However it does work on RH9 IA32 kernel 2.4.20-30.9 as well as under Suse 9.1 AMD64 kernel 2.6.5-7.95-smp. Is there an AMD64 2.4 kernel that would support this? Or do I have to go to 2.6?
