Hello everybody out there,
for testing purposes I need a program which needs "kill -9" (and NOT just "kill") to kill its process.
Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance.
Frank
Frank, The you need to include a signal handler to catch and ignore the TERM signal (and any other signals you don't want to have their default effect) in your program. I can't be more specific since you don't say what language you are using. Try looking at man 2 signal to get started... alan -- http://www.ibgames.net/alan Registered Linux user #6822 http://counter.li.org Winding Down - Weekly Tech Newsletter - subscribe at http://www.ibgames.net/alan/winding/mailing.html
