[opensuse-ppc] G4 L2 cache and BootX

Hi guys. I managed to pickup a G3 All-in-One machine. It was a G3/233/512k, with a revision 2 ROM. I have managed to get Linux up and running on this machine fairly easily. All the hardware was detected properly. Some issues: 1. Got the issue with YOU wanting to download the 64bit libraries on the first update. I did not install ZMD. I used: suse.mirrors.tds.net/pub/suse/update/10.2 2. Issue with the Internet test. If I select "Yes" and try to test the connection, it always fails. If I drop to tty2, I can verify a network connection with ifconfig. If I select "No", it automatically checks for internet sources, and the asks if I want to add them. Not sure why it tries to test the connection when I say no, and why I can't get it to worl when I select "Yes". 3. Does anyone have any idea how to edit the BootX preferences with Resedit? BootX's "GrabG3CacheSetting" program doesn't work on G4's/ I have put a G4/350 in this machine, and it tries to use the G3's cache setting, which fails. If I add "lcr=0xb908000", it doesn't work. I haven't been able to figure out if v2.6 supports this or not. I've seen post about editting the preference file with ResEdit, but since I have never used ResEdit, I have no clue how to edit it........ Any help would be greatly appriciated.
