For what it's worth, speaking as an end user who is interested in moving away from the x86 platform, I would be willing to pay for a up-to-date SuSE PPC distro and/or extended service
I don't want to sell it, and I don't have experiences in different PPC computers, so I can't realy do support. But I would like to make public my work and if SuSE wants to provide on there ftp-server it would be very nice. For alpha there is also a comunity version, why not for PPC? -- Machs gut | http://www.iivs.de/schwinde/buerger/tremmel/ | http://packman.links2linux.de/ Manfred | http://www.knightsoft-net.de

The alpha version is even built in house by some Alpha gurus ;) Ciao, Marcus
Hello Marcus,
The alpha version is even built in house by some Alpha gurus ;)
Well what about just giving Manfred an email adress ...@suse.de and so making him "in house", too? ;-) Regards, Christian -- Zuviel Enthusiasmus in der Tugend macht auf den folgenden Augenblick desto kälter und schadet also. -- Jean Paul

I don't need the webspace from SuSE, I would be happy when SuSE gives me the allowance to make the yast-RPMs public (the rest is OS and I don't think SuSE can have anything against this versions). PS: your gcc 3.3.1 RPM was a big step forward :-) -- Machs gut | http://www.iivs.de/schwinde/buerger/tremmel/ | http://packman.links2linux.de/ Manfred | http://www.knightsoft-net.de
