of course not ;-) XFree86 4.1 + DRI/DRM CVS updates everything is cool, OpenGL also .. OT: i checked the KDE2.2 i686 stuff: - ftp.suse.com: openssl not working, .. (konqueror says n.a.) - ftp.de.kde.org: - base + experimental i686: - java script crashes konq. - base - everything is cool ;-)

Just so you can compare, I have the following installed and quanta and kmail run fine: kernel 2.4.8-0 benh KDE 2.1.2 from mid July XFree 4.1.0-7 from Olaf/SuSE w/ DRI at 16bpp on a r128 libXft.so.1.1 I've yet to upgrade to the latest KDE 2.2, so perhaps that is where the problem lies. Joss --

kernel 2.4.8-0 benh KDE 2.1.2 from mid July XFree 4.1.0-7 from Olaf/SuSE w/ DRI at 16bpp on a r128 libXft.so.1.1
I've yet to upgrade to the latest KDE 2.2, so perhaps that is where the problem lies.
