The keymaps for 6.4 X11 are broken and the downloads for updating are gone . I am of course switiching over to yellow dog linux and praying for the best , thanks for the advice . I had this problem solved long ago whewn the downloads existed online , I am gonna call up suse and see if they can mail me the old upgrades fer a fee , I still like 6.4 it works on the old suckers . You can find all that stuff in ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/discontinued/ppc/update/. But it is recommended to upgrade to a more current version, as new security upgrades are no longer provided for those old releases.
