SuSE PPC 7.1 on Powebook G4 Titanium ?
I am about to purchase a Powerbook G4 Titanium, and would like to know if I can install SuSE PPC 7.1 "out of the box" ? 1) Do I need a newer kernel than the one provided on the CD ? 2) Is the video card supported ? 3) Does it allow to use 1152 x 768 pixels in 32 bit mode ? Have a look at: http://cfa-www.harvard.edu/~tkurosu/SuSE-v71-PPC-install.log I tried it and it worked.
