I still cannot load SuSE 7.1 on my iMac, even though going by the manual and by experts advice, Why?!

Surely, its not much to ask for - the EXACT things to type into the firmware to allow a bootup into SuSE.

Its not that SuSE is not working, Its just that it won't boot on its own!!

Why should I use a CD1 to boot when I don't even want mac on my ppc??

Can anyone help me? The SuSE people can't! - and don't ask me why yaboot and chooser don't work - they were done properly on OS9.1 and I prefer to use OS X as a partition, but no one seems to know how to just use OS X and SuSE 7.1 on the same hard drive.
