You need to use the apple utility to partition the disks, then I found that it complained about custom or
foreign partitions, so take the partitions that you designated as swap and root, select the swap and
tell it to format it as swap (no mount) then take your root, tell it to format and mount as /

i don't succeed in installing linux 7.3 ppc on my imac 700.
is there anybody who could give/send me an detailed instruction beginning
with hd-partition ?
when i follow the manual, the first problem appears when i start yast 2
which doesnt recognize the partition. the next problem is setting mount
points...
after installation i am not able to boot from the installed partition.
HELP !!!
