PREP: The kernel is not copied in the boot partition
Do not reboot the system after the installation. Copy the kernel manually inserting CD 1 and proceeding as follows:
mount /cdrom
dd if=/cdrom/suse/images/zImage.prep of=/dev/sda1

I am a little confused, if I use bootx is this true, and how do I get into the command mode as I am in the graphical installer when it says reboot.  Also, if I am using the oldworld kernel is the above instruction still correct.
