[opensuse-packaging] bring back removed package
What's the method to bring back a package that was removed from factory but still has a devel package (i.e. that package is broken because of the bad link)? Re-create it anew, or is there some way to bring it back from factory? thanks, -- Jason Craig -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+owner@opensuse.org

Does the devel package still exist? Which package are we talking about? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+owner@opensuse.org

which is something, that I don't understand conceptually-wise anyway. Given Factory's behavior (which I *do* support), no package should be homed in Factory. Ever. I cannot see any reasonable logic in special topic projects, if they constantly loose packages, if factory decides to remove them. thanks, -- Jason Craig Hi
I have removed the broken link, so package builds again in devel project - it can be of course re-submitted to Factory, but I assume there was some reson for its removal .. Yep, that's the reason. I'm (hopefully) fixing several security bugs and will re-submit it. thanks, -- Jason Craig -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+owner@opensuse.org
