I suggest we use it for a gcc47 field test. Greetings, Stephan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+owner@opensuse.org

I agree we're in good shape. Richard, will you submit a gcc which changes the default? I like this idea... (obviously?) for this to be as successful as possible, though, we have to ask all package maintainers that received gcc 4.7 patches in their packages to have those fixes forwarded to Factory. For most parts I think this is fine; Likely there are some more fallouts... which we keep on chasing (or in rare exceptional cases, try to work around). I think the biggest short-coming I have seen in the 'gcc 4.7' transition 'project' was a 'compare two projects build states and list the differences' (in human english: show me all packages that failed in the gcc 4.7 staging area that did work in the non-staging area... with an average of 100 packages failing already with gcc 4.7, this would have helped several times to not look at those packages (but well, we ended up fixing some packages of that category too :) ) Best regards, Dominique -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+owner@opensuse.org

I submitted a few to games[0] a few weeks ago, but haven't seen a reply. [0] https://build.opensuse.org/home/requests?user=klaussfreire In fact enough time has passed that I already got some patches for those packages. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+owner@opensuse.org

Unfortunately games is one of those projects that are unmaintained as projects and people only care for their own games inside ;( Greetings, Stephan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+owner@opensuse.org

Um... How do we fix it? (I could volunteer *some* time) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+owner@opensuse.org

It was accepted into games, but just to clarify, it won't get into a milestone unless you now submit it from games to factory. Greg -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+owner@opensuse.org

I know, the schedule will be a bit rushed since I still have to apply the patches I mentioned. Will see if I make the deadline. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+owner@opensuse.org

Submit now to get it into the first time review - and then add your patches and submit again...
