How to get a new package into openSUSE:Backports:SLE-12-SP5?
Hi all, what is the correct way to get an additional package into openSUSE:Backports:SLE-12-SP5? One of our customers needed apache2-mod_auth_gssapi for SLES12 SP5, so I tried to build that against the Backports, and it worked.

As this might be of use to others, I wanted to add it to the Backports aka Packagehub. Is there any easy way to submit it to the Backports aka PackageHub? Or is the fun described in the wiki still the way to go?

Hi, You submit it directly towards this project. This will go then into maintenance queue and processed by maintenance and delivered. Ciao, Marcus On Thu, Jul 14, 2022 at 01:27:54PM +0200, Johannes Kastl wrote:

Thanks, that seemed to work, though I had to submit all three packages separately. https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/989163 https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/989164 https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/989165 Kind Regards, Johannes -- Johannes Kastl Linux Consultant & Trainer Tel.: +49 (0) 151 2372 5802 Mail: kastl@b1-systems.de B1 Systems GmbH Osterfeldstraße 7 / 85088 Vohburg http://www.b1-systems.de GF: Ralph Dehner Unternehmenssitz: Vohburg / AG: Ingolstadt,HRB 3537
