Try this toy script http://devzero2000.pastebin.com/NBLpeKwN on the buildroot and look at which script the deps is related. For fixing something you have to patch the script, along this lines for example http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging/Perl check : Manual Requires and Provides. The problem discussed here is different but the origin can be similar, imho.
